Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe. This will undoubtedly go down as one of the great American tragedies of our time. A tragedy first and foremost for the victims, who were robbed of their innocence at such a young age. A tragedy for JoePa, who worked so hard for so many years only to not be granted a final home game. A tragedy for State College, who not only suffers the loss of its grandfather, but must also take on the damage done by the riots. And finally, a tragedy for the players, specifically the seniors, who will be spending their last home game overshadowed and coachless. Support the victims. Support the players. Support each other, and hope or pray that it all ends soon.
This person has a young son. How would she feel if it were HER son? Did she bother to read the grand jury report?
So totally disgusted with PSU apologists.
And yeah, I went to PSU. I’m totally unsurprised at there being a culture of denial and protection for the football program.
